Alicia Blater receives 2014 HHS Pacesetter Award

Alicia Blater, 2008 MS in Gerontology with a Non-Profit Concentration, received the 2014 UNCG School of Health and HumanAlaciaBlaterReceivesHHSPacesetterAwardApril2014 Science Pacesetter award which honors outstanding HHS alumni who have attained local, state or regional recognition through their achievements in scholarship, leadership or service, during their career or through civic involvement.
As a Family Caregiver Consultant with the NC Division on Aging & Adult Services, Blater is recognized as a national leader in family care support services and creator of an Emergency & Disaster Preparedness Toolkit for Senior Centers which is now  used throughout NC.  Congratulations to Ms. Blater from the UNCG Gerontology Program!
