The City of Greensboro Smith Senior Center is offering free, confidential memory screenings from 1-4 pm, November 19 at 2401 Fairview Street as part of National Memory Screening Day, an annual initiative of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Memory care specialists from Brookdale Senior Living will administer the memory screenings and provide educational materials about memory concerns, brain health, and care-giving. The face-to-face screenings consist of a series of questions and tasks, and take up to 10 minutes to administer.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are available by calling the Smith Senior Center at 336-373-7564.

For more information about National Memory Screening Day, call the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America toll free at 1-866-232-8484 or the Smith Senior Center at 336-373-7564.
