MorganMoserSodexoAwardMorgan Moser, second year graduate student seeking the MS in Gerontology at UNCG, recently received the Sodexo CARES award for going “above-and-beyond” her duties as summer intern at Twin Lakes Continuing Care Retirement Community.  Nominated by the Twin Lakes Wellness Director Michael Cane, Moser is one of only 25 selected from 2,500 nominations nationwide!  Moser received a certificate from the President of Sodexo’s Health Care Division plus publicity in Sodexo publications.

Morgan assisted with a golf tournament and wellness fair, provided employee service training and workshops on dementia care, and developed, implemented and instructed multiple fitness classes for both independent and assisted living residents.

Twin Lakes Wellness Program operates under the Sodexo CARES approach based on five behavioral principles Sodexo identifies as critical to delivering top quality service in a community setting:   Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Service. The Sodexo CARES culture is built from the ground up with training programs designed for delivery by department managers rather than remote corporate trainers.  Congratulations to Morgan Moser for her award-winning UNCG Gerontology Program internship at Twin Lakes!
