Martin Andersen, UNCG Assistant Professor of Economics, joins the UNCG Gerontology Research, Outreach, Workforce, & Teaching Hub (GROWTH).
Dr. Andersen’s research interests include:
• Medicaid and Insurance Coverage among the Elderly
• Effects of Benefit Design in the Medicare Part D Program on Drug Utilization, Choice, and Health Outcomes, and
• Effects of insurance subsidies on mortality (Swiss data)
Anderson received a NBER Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Aging and Health, teaches Health Economics at UNCG (Graduate and Undergraduate), and offers public speaking about supplemental insurance and insurance alternatives for the elderly.
