Rachael Wonderlin graduated from UNCG’s Gerontology program
in 2013 with a Master’s in Gerontology. Soon after graduate school she got her first full-time job in the field, working at Brookdale Senior Living in Burlington, NC, as the Memory Care Program Manager for Brookdale Burlington. Rachael has since been a Dementia Care Director at two other communities, and started her blog, Dementia By Day.
In November 2016, Johns Hopkins University Press published her book, “When Someone You Know is Living in a Dementia Care Community.” Wonderlin now lives in Pittsburgh, PA, where she runs Dementia By Day, LLC, a dementia care consulting business.
